Veeam Sales Training Resources
We believe that training is the cornerstone of growth and success. To ensure that our resellers are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to deliver exceptional value to customers, we offer a range of training resources. Our flagship free-to-partner sales training program, VMSP/VMTSP, serves as a solid foundation to help resellers enhance their sales skills, enabling them to sell more effectively and recommend holistic solutions to their customers. This training covers topics like cybersecurity and disaster recovery (DR), SaaS, Kubernetes data protection, public cloud, and cloud service providers. When approaching these trainings, it’s worth noting any plans that a partner organisation might have to apply for a Veeam Partner Competency, since only module trainings can be used to apply for these competencies. The modules are easy to complete and will elevate partners to serve as trusted advisers to customers, expand their industry knowledge, and enable them to stay on top of evolving technology trends.
VMSP/VMTSP forms a core component of the Veeam Partner Competency programs. As part of the Veeam partner program, partners must attain a specific number of completions to qualify for specific tiers. The same goes for the Veeam Partner Competency Program, which also requires members to complete trainings.
VMSP/VMTSP has received rave reviews from the 800+ partners who completed it in the first half of 2024. According to our survey results, 92.5% of our partners found the content of the VMSP/VMTSP training to be relevant and 91.5% reported an increase in confidence to present Veeam solutions after completing the training. 90.5% of respondents said they intended to use the knowledge they gained during the training. These numbers speak volumes about the impact and efficacy of our training programs.
VMTSP serves as a platform to begin the learning journey to our top-level engineer and architect trainings, VMCE and VMCA. Our VMCE/VMCA-trained partners saw their deal sizes grow 60 times faster over a two-year period compared to partners who did not undergo this training. It’s clear that investing in training yields tremendous results!
To add to this, the Veeam’s sales acceleration team — who are core to delivering this training — have won multiple international business awards as part of the prestigious Stevie Awards Program. This included gold, silver, and bronze awards across multiple categories and over many years for the part they played in delivering VMSP/VMTSP to our partners.
